Yachts round the world for transplantation

Prof Steve Wigmore of the Edinburgh Transplant Unit and colleagues have got together at team of transplant patients supported by transplant professionals to participate in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 2011-2012. It is the ultimate challenge in team sailing and offers a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the abilities of transplant patients.

 

This is an amazing project with an inspiring team of people who are passionate about promoting organ donation and transplantation on a global stage. Our patients are sailing as Transplant Ambassadors and will demonstrate how organ donation and transplantation can transform lives.  You can donate £ support here.
